Your list. Your servers. A fraction of the bill.

We move you to Mautic and Amazon SES, then run it for you.

For organizations with 10,000+ contacts paying $1,000 or more a month for HubSpot, Marketo or Pardot. Same campaigns, same forms, same CRM sync, and your data and sending reputation stay in accounts you own.

List-price estimates. HubSpot uses the $890 Professional base with 2,000 contacts plus about $50 per additional 1,000, before its $3,000 onboarding fee. Marketo figures are estimates, since Adobe publishes no prices. ActiveCampaign above 50,000 contacts is quote-only. Amazon SES at $0.10 per 1,000 emails. Your contract may differ, which is what the free estimate is for.

How it works

Three steps. Fixed prices. No surprises.

01

Free savings estimate

Send us your contact count, send volume and current plan. You get a one-page comparison of what you pay now against Mautic plus SES. No call required.

02

Fixed-price migration

We set up Mautic and Amazon SES on your own accounts, warm up sending, move your contacts and segments, rebuild your templates, forms and core campaigns, and connect your CRM.

03

We run it

Hosting, updates, monitoring, bounce and complaint handling, list hygiene and small changes. You send email. We keep it landing in the inbox.

Every migration includes

Deliverability is the hard part. It is also the part most hosting providers leave to you.

  • Mautic installed and hardened
  • Amazon SES setup and sandbox exit
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC
  • Bounce and complaint handling
  • Gradual IP warm-up
  • Contacts, segments and history moved
  • Templates, forms and core campaigns rebuilt
  • Sync with your existing CRM

The heavy lifting
Migration
$7,500 to $15,000

One fixed price, quoted up front. Lists of 75,000 and up take more warm-up and segmentation, and sit at the top of the range.

Run retainer
$750/mo

Monitoring, updates, deliverability and list hygiene, plus 4 hours of changes a month. Extra hours $150, only with your OK. $1,000 with 6 hours for lists over 75,000. 12-month minimum.

Campaign ops add-on
$1,500/mo

We build and send your campaigns every month, so your team can stop wrestling the editor.

Always included, never on the clock

Uptime and deliverability monitoring, Mautic and server updates, bounce and complaint handling, Amazon SES reputation management, and fixing anything that breaks on our side. You should never think twice before telling us something looks wrong.

Counts toward your monthly hours

New forms, template edits, segment and workflow changes, CRM field updates and custom reports. Hours don't roll over. Anything bigger than about 8 hours gets its own fixed quote instead.

You own the accounts

Mautic and SES run on your own AWS account wherever possible. Your data and your sending reputation never belong to us.

Costs at cost

Hosting and sending are billed to you directly at what they actually cost. No markup hiding inside a bundle.

Your own instance

Every client runs on a separate, documented Mautic instance. No shared servers, no neighbors hurting your reputation, and it's all open source.

Proof

84% off the bill. More mail, better opens.

In April 2026, D2 Emerge, publisher of SD Times and ITOps Times, moved its email program off ActiveCampaign onto self-hosted Mautic and Amazon SES. The bill fell from $1,600 a month to about $250, and sending grew from a 900,000-email monthly cap to about 1.5 million.

ActiveCampaign kept raising its rates, and the cap meant mailing only part of the list. The data and the sending reputation lived in someone else's account. Now they sit in D2 Emerge's own.

  • Background workers and scheduled jobs tuned so every email goes out once, on time
  • About 120,000 emails an hour, so a 100,000-contact send finishes in under an hour
  • A dedicated sending IP on Amazon SES, so no other sender's habits touch its reputation
  • Automatic recovery on restart, with monitoring

Full disclosure: D2 Emerge is owned by Longtrail's founder, Dave Lyman, who built this setup for his own company before offering it to anyone else. Every client migration starts from the same configuration.

Beyond email

The technology lead you don't have yet.

Most companies our size have no CTO. We help them make good technology decisions, modernize what's aging, and put AI to work on the repetitive stuff. Every engagement starts with a fixed-price assessment and a ranked roadmap.

Fractional CTO

A part-time technology leader for vendor decisions, roadmap, security and hiring.

AI automation

Intake, reply triage, reporting pipelines and internal tools, scoped and priced as fixed projects.

Website modernization

Move an aging WordPress site to a faster, cheaper, more secure stack on Cloudflare.

AI search visibility

Get your company cited when buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI search for answers.

Deliverability audit

Not ready to migrate? We review authentication, list health and inbox placement on what you have.

Software spend audit

Find the overlapping, overpriced subscriptions and consolidate or replace them.

Automation in practice

AI on the busywork. People on the decisions.

Two systems we built and run for D2 Emerge, the publisher of SD Times and ITOps Times, owned by Longtrail's founder. Both work alongside the software it already paid for.

Six months of cold email drew no human replies. The pitch wasn't the problem: the mail wasn't reaching inboxes. We moved sales email to a proper sending domain with full authentication, then built a Sales Cockpit to work the target accounts.

  • A campaign agent works a list of 191 target companies
  • Reply triage sorts the inbox, saving about 6 hours a month on its own
  • Prospecting time fell from 12 to 15 hours a week to about 5
Runs alongside the existing CRM for about $20 a month.

SD Times' editors were losing hours to sorting PR pitches and packaging stories. Two tools now do that work, and the time goes back into more stories, interviews and podcasts.

  • An Editorial Cockpit reads the PR inbox every 15 minutes, ranks pitches and clears out the junk
  • An assistant in WordPress drafts stories, images, SEO, social posts and the newsletter
  • Nothing publishes or sends without an editor's approval
Works with WordPress, Yoast, Buffer, Gmail and Mautic. Everything else runs on free tiers.
